Post Incorporation
Upon incorporation, the Directors’ First Board meeting is held to determine and confirm the financial year of the company, appointment of secretarial agent and company officers, auditor (if necessary) and chairman of the meeting.
Printing of Company Registration Number on Documents
In order to distinguish one company from another, the Companies Act requires that every company include its registration number (in addition to its registered name) on all business letters, statements of account, invoices, official notices and publications of or purporting to be issued or signed by or on behalf of the company.
Continuing Obligations
Once the company has been incorporated there are certain obligations that must be adhered to:

Notification of Changes to the Company
There is an obligation to notify ACRA of any changes to registered particulars of the company, supported with the prescribed Directors’ Resolutions. |

Annual Return and Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Every company is required to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) within eighteen months of its incorporation to present its audited/FRS accounts to its shareholders. These accounts must not be made up to a date later than six months from the date of the AGM.
After that, an AGM must be held once every calendar year but not later than fifteen months from the date of the last AGM. The company's Annual Return together with the accounts must be filed with ACRA not later than one month from the date of the Annual General Meeting. |

Corporate Tax Return (Form C)
The Form C for the preceding financial year must be submitted to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) by the 31st of July. For example, if the company accounts is for the Year Ended 31st December 2006, the Year of Assessment is 2007, and the FORM C must be submitted by 31st December 2007. |
