Application for Singapore Citizenship

The following applicants are eligible to apply for Singapore Citizenship:

•	One whom is at least 21 years of age and has been a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) for at least 2 years;
•	Singapore Permanent Resident who has completed full-time National Service;
•	Spouse of Singapore Citizen with a minimum of 2-year SPR and married for at least 2 years preceding the date of application;
•	Minor born outside Singapore, but is residing permanently in Singapore and whose parents are Singapore Citizens;
•	Child born outside Singapore whose parent is a Singapore Citizen.

Processing Time
The processing time for an application is 3 to 6 months

Documents Required

•	Citizenship Application (duly completed)
•	One recent passport-sized photograph
•	Identity Card and Current and Previous Passports
•	Entry Permit & Re-Entry Permit
•	Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
•	Academic, Professional and Educational Certificates
•	Letter of Employment
•	Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the last 3 years
•	CPF Statement for the last 12 months
•	National Service Exemption Letter
•	Business Profile from ACRA, if applicable
•	Other Documents as required on case-to-case basis.
